Panasonic has unveiled its comprehensive 2026 television lineup shortly after announcing a strategic partnership with Chinese manufacturer Skyworth, demonstrating the company’s commitment to remaining a major player in the competitive TV market. The new Panasonic 2026 TV range spans multiple screen technologies and price points, from premium OLED models to entry-level HD sets. The announcement comes as the partnership with Skyworth is set to take effect on April 1, 2026, according to the company.
The extensive product lineup features models equipped with various smart platforms including Fire TV, Google TV, Roku, and TiVo. Available screen sizes range from 32 inches to 86 inches, catering to diverse consumer needs and budgets across both the United Kingdom and continental Europe markets.
Affordable OLED Entry with Z85C and Z86C Series
At the premium end of the spectrum, Panasonic introduced the Z85C and Z86C OLED series, positioned as the brand’s most affordable OLED televisions to date. These models utilize new OLED SE panel technology that removes the traditional polarizer from the screen construction, enabling more competitive pricing to rival LG’s popular B Series models. The Z85C models sold in continental Europe will feature Google TV, while the U.K. exclusive Z86C versions will incorporate Fire TV smart capabilities.
Available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes, these sets include native 120Hz refresh rates, support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ premium HDR formats, Dolby Atmos audio playback, and variable refresh rate support for gaming. However, the removal of polarizers may result in increased susceptibility to reflections compared to traditional Panasonic OLED TVs, according to industry observers. Exact pricing details have not yet been announced by the manufacturer.
Notably, Panasonic has not revealed replacements for its highly regarded 2025 Z95B and Z90B premium OLED series. Company representatives indicated that additional television-related announcements might come later in the year, while the existing Z95B and Z90B models will continue as flagship options for now.
Premium Mini-LED Models Lead LCD Offerings
The W97C and W95C series represent Panasonic’s top-tier LCD television offerings for 2026, featuring Mini-LED backlighting with more than 1,000 local dimming zones. These models support 144Hz refresh rates, incorporate Quantum Dot color technology, and include the new Glare Free Ultra technology designed to reduce reflections without compromising picture quality. Peak brightness reaches approximately 1,500 nits, with color coverage achieving 105% of the DCI-P3 HDR format, according to Panasonic specifications.
Available in 55, 65, 75, and 86-inch screen sizes, the W97C and W95C series will not be sold in the United Kingdom market. These models support Dolby Vision HDR, Dolby Atmos audio, VRR for gaming, and include Filmmaker Mode for accurate picture settings. The model number variations reflect different color options available across European territories.
Meanwhile, the U.K. market will receive the W94C Mini-LED series as its premium LCD option. Available in 55, 65, and 75-inch sizes with Fire TV smart features, these models retain Mini-LED lighting, Glare Free Ultra technology, Quantum Dot color, and support for both Dolby Vision and 144Hz gaming. Continental European markets will also have access to the W92C series with Google TV, while the U.K. exclusive W91C models step down to 60Hz panels with Roku smart features.
Mid-Range and Entry-Level Options Round Out Lineup
The W90C series serves as Panasonic’s most affordable Mini-LED option for continental Europe, utilizing Google TV rather than Roku. Below the Mini-LED tier, the W83C and W80C series represent the highest-end newly announced LED models, featuring 60Hz refresh rates, Quantum Dot color, and Glare Free Max anti-reflection technology. These models support both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ formats, Dolby Atmos sound, and Filmmaker Mode presets, available in 43, 50, 55, 65, and 75-inch sizes.
Additionally, the W60C series offers native 4K resolution without Quantum Dot color enhancement, utilizing TiVo smart features across 43 to 75-inch sizes. The S65C series marks the transition to Full HD resolution in 32 and 40-inch options with Fire TV and Dolby Audio support. The entry-level S45C and S40C series provide HD Ready resolution with TiVo smart capabilities in 32 and 40-inch screen sizes.
In contrast to typical product cycles, Panasonic’s 120Hz W85B series from 2025 will carry over as the brand’s most premium regular LED television option. This decision suggests a staggered release strategy that may include additional announcements throughout the year. The company has confirmed it will release pricing information at a later date as models approach market availability.
Panasonic is expected to announce detailed pricing and specific launch dates for individual models in the coming weeks, with potential additional television product announcements anticipated later in 2026.
