North Berwick’s Station Road welcomes a new design haven, ‘The Store,’ curated by an East Lothian interior designer with a 15-year career in bespoke furniture. Nestled at 7 Station Road, The Store offers a collection of meticulously restored one-of-a-kind furniture, embodying the designer’s bold, playful, and contemporary style.
The space, formerly home to Castle Cottage Interiors, has been transformed into a bright and airy retail experience. Beyond the curated collection, The Store invites visitors to explore individual upholstery commissions for furniture or headboards, providing a bespoke touch to living spaces.
With a solid track record and a portfolio of residential and commercial clients, the designer has secured contracts with renowned design houses and proudly serves as the official East Lothian stockist for Designers Guild, Nobilis, Pierre Frey, and Thibaut.
While The Store takes the spotlight, the original design studio in Gullane remains open by appointment for larger projects, ensuring a commitment to bespoke solutions. The legacy of the previous occupant, Castle Cottage Interiors, gracefully steps aside as The Store emerges as a beacon of innovative design in North Berwick.
The Store, located at 7 Station Road, North Berwick, welcomes visitors Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, with Sunday hours available by appointment. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in the visionary creator’s design journey, promising a personalized and vibrant design experience for patrons.
